The VIA-Pro system was developed in Europe in response to strict laws that require visual verification of alarms – either by video or a security guard. Police response time for the Videofied™ alarms was significantly faster than those alarms verified by security guards.

RSIalarm uses eDevice M2M modules to transfer multimedia files such as data, voice and video over the Internet through wireline (V32bis modem or LAN) or wireless (GPRS) communication networks.
