The TELEHOLTER TH16 Screen ECG® is a portable electronic recorder designed to acquire, analyse and transmit the ECG (Electrocardiography)signal from three derivations via internet. The continuous recording and introduction on board the apparatus of evolved diagnostic algorithms make the TH16 Screen ECG® electively suitable for the study of:
- problems due to coronary ischemia and/or acute arrhythmias with characteristics of transience, unexpectedness and low frequency of occurrence
- silent forms of these diseases
- pluricircadian trends of cardiac frequency, arrhythmia and ST segment shift
The TH16 Screen ECG® allows continuous
remote monitoring of the patient with an integrated
PSTN modem or
Cellular module for data transmission using PPP protocol for two-way FTP data exchange. The TH16 Screen ECG® can therefore be applied for first level screening for early diagnosis in subjects the first time they have a problem, in secondary prevention of critical relapses and/or sudden deaths, and in home monitoring of heart patients in special conditions (protected premature discharge, rehabilitation, integrated home care). The TH16 Screen ECG® operates in standalone mode as well as integrated into the QS-32 Net data management system.
