The eDconv feature enables the connection of any device equipped with a serial port to a TCP/IP network such as the Internet. Once the eDconv is connected to your device in the field, the device may be remotely managed from a computer connected to the Internet. No software or hardware modification is usually required on the device side or on the remote workstation.

Data sent from your serial device is replicated by the eDconv on a PC with an IP address. From the PC an operator can have a remote dialog with the equipment as if it were a local serial connection.
