The 100 series of M2M Modules & Terminals offer connectivity over wired analog phone line also known as PSTN/POTS. This network generally offers a high reliability and does not require a dedicated network subscription.
The 100 series are built on top of an off-the-shelf Digital Signal Processor specially designed to process the modem algorithms required for exchanging data with ISPs over PSTN. V.90, V.34, V.32bis modulations are available on the full range to provide the sufficient speed transfer. V.42, CallerID for calling number identification, and G729a for voice applications are also available.
The 100 series implement all the protocols required to exchange data over the Internet, such as PPP for connection to the ISP and the RFC compliant TCP/IP applications (FTP, mail, Telnet, HTTP).
